The North Carolina Pesticide Board is a seven-member, governor appointed Board charged with the duty of governing pesticide management and control as set forth in the North Carolina Pesticide Law of 1971. §143-436

The members represent different sectors of the regulated public. One member each representing the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services; the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources; and the State Health Director or his designee. The persons so selected may be either members of a policy board or departmental officials or employees.
