Soil and Water Conservation Districts Watershed Recovery Efforts

The Division is now accepting online applications for the Disaster Recovery Program's round 1 funding with applications to be entered and submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 3, 2017. The online application with additional information can be accessed by clicking the appropriate practice listed below. Please note that the Division plans to host subsequent batching periods with monthly application deadlines to expend all program funds as available.  The next application deadline is tentatively set for early March 2017. Timber Restoration Fund to help landowners recover from recent disasters

Landowners in 93 North Carolina counties whose timber lands were damaged by Hurricane Matthew or wildfires last year may apply for state funds to help with tree planting costs. The Disaster Recovery Act of 2016 included $1 million for the Timber Restoration Fund, administered by the N.C. Forest Service. Go to webpage >>
