A culture of safety and environmental awareness is a priority for our employees. Our goal is to provide a safe work environment for our employees, our contractors and our customers. To obtain a safe workplace environment requires contributions from all levels of the organization. The Occupational Safety, Environmental Management team is in partnership with the employees of the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. This team supports the staff through education, training, consultation, recognizing and controlling potential hazards while ensuring a process of regulatory compliance. Together, cultivating the safety culture while minimize the potential liabilities in the workplace.
