The Department operates under the State's Salary Administration Policies. This section administers pay within established guidelines for: new appointments; promotions; reassignments and demotions; reallocations; salary range revisions; transfers; reinstatements; appointment changes; longevity pay; holiday premium pay; shift premium pay; emergency call-back pay; on-call compensation; dual employment; and other general pay categories.
