Notice of funding
Commissioner Steve Troxler, on behalf of the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Food Distribution Division, is announcing its second cycle of funding being made available to emergency feeding organizations. The Cycle 2 funding is being provided to the Department by the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act of 2009 (ARRA) for “The Emergency Food Assistance Program”.
Emergency feeding organizations that are public or nonprofit organizations are encouraged to apply for these Cycle 2 funds. Interested emergency feeding organizations will be required to complete an application, and upon award of any funds, enter into a contract with the Department. Applications can be downloaded and organizations can find out more about “The Emergency Food Assistance Program” at www.ncagr.gov.
