Maple Creek Farm is 106 acres of mountains and valleys in the highlands of Yancey County, NC. We produce maple syrup, pastured pork, grassfed lamb, sorghum syrup, apple cider, and seasonal vegetables. We are the southernmost commercial producer of maple syrup in the country, and the only such producer in NC that we know of.
Although we are not certified organic,
we use organic methods in our vegetable
and forest production. Our farming
philosophy is rooted in permaculture and
sustainablity, and our animal husbandry
practices are humane.
