Windy Wool Windings

Wonderous Wool, Lovely, Lucious Lambs

About US
Located in Catawba County, all animals are raised here on the farm. The sheep are dual purpose breeds, producing a fine/medium wool as well as meat. The animals are raised as naturally as possible with no growth stimulants or hormones, just grass, hay and some grain all of which is produced on our farm. Our crops are fertilized with chicken litter and cow manure rather than commercial fertilizers. During the summer months, the sheep are grazed on the solar fields of Apple INC to help with the environment improvements pledged by Apple, INC. In the late fall, the sheep are moved back to the home farm for lambing and easier care during the winter.
