About Us:
Braeburn Farm is located in the sunny hills of Snow Camp, North Carolina. The farm had it's beginnings in 1975 when the property was purchased by Dr. Charles "Doc" Sydnor, who decided to begin raising cattle. Later, his wife Cindy, developed an Olympic level horse dressage operation on part of the farm. Braeburn Farm now encompasses over 500 acres of pasture, open savannah areas, and conservation areas. For three decades, Doc and Cindy, with the help of only a few spirited farm hands, have trained horses and raised grass-fed beef cattle on the land. The cows are sustainably grazed to preserve the natural vitality of the Earth and wildlife.

More recently Braeburn Farm has responded to an increased interest from those wishing to learn more about farming practices, farm life, and the outdoors. Children of all ages can enjoy the wonders of our animals in a fun, safe, and educational environment. Jan Nirri, is the owner and operator of Farm Adventures at Braeburn Farm. Jan began working for Doc as the Farm Manager for beef operations in the Fall of 2013. As her love for the farm and cattle grew, she became even more passionate about sharing that experience with others.

Farm Adventures at Braeburn Farm offers a way for groups and events, both small and large, to have access to this beautiful farm. Please contact us with any questions or to schedule your tour.
