Braeburn Farm is located in the sunny hills of Snow Camp,
North Carolina. The farm had it's beginnings in 1975 when
the property was purchased by Dr. Charles "Doc" Sydnor, who
decided to begin raising cattle. Later, his wife Cindy,
developed an Olympic level horse dressage operation on part
of the farm. Braeburn Farm now encompasses over 500 acres of
pasture, open savannah areas, and conservation areas.
For three decades, Doc and Cindy, with the help of only a
few spirited farm hands, have trained horses and raised
grass-fed beef cattle on the land. The cows are sustainably
grazed to preserve the natural vitality of the Earth and

responded to an increased
interest from those wishing to learn
more about farming
practices, farm life, and the outdoors.

Jan Nirri, is the owner and operator of
Farm Adventures at
Braeburn Farm. Jan began working for Doc
as the Farm Manager
for beef operations in the Fall of 2013.
As her love for the
farm and cattle grew, she became even
more passionate about
sharing that experience with others.
