North Carolina Veterinary Conference (NCVC)
Please join us this year at the North Carolina Veterinary Conference in Raleigh on Friday, November 5. The public practice track provided on this day will provide a day long training
for veterinary response corp members and those who are interested in the VRC and other public practice topics of interest. The day will include an introduction to NCVRC as well as the
biosecurity training that is required of all NCVRC members.

Past Trainings
Regional CAMET Trainings
The North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (NCDA&CS) recently conducted two CAMET and sheltering trainings. The Central training was conducted at Davidson Community College on February 24th, 2010, and training for the Western area of the state was on April 21st, 2010 at the Buncombe County Fire Training Center.
Both training sessions were well attended and all participants departed with the knowledge and skills necessary to assit with animal care during a natural or man made event.
