Commissioner's Circle to meet April 18 at State Fairgrounds

RALEIGH - The Commissioner's Circle, a group that advises Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler on agribusiness matters, will meet at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, in the Graham Building at the State Fairgrounds.

Agenda topics will include an update on crop damage from the Easter weekend freeze and a presentation about the work of the Structural Pest Control and Pesticides Division of the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.

The Commissioner's Circle is composed of 35 citizens from across North Carolina representing farming, processing, the retail grocery business and other aspects of agribusiness. The group meets quarterly.
