Mountain State Fair safety press conference is Sept. 6
Troxler to discuss plans for TVA settlement funds

WHAT:	Mountain State Fair officials will hold a safety press conference to cover safety procedures for rides, animal exhibits and displays, traffic control, grounds safety and more. Following the briefing, Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler will discuss plans for distributing funds from the state’s settlement with the Tennessee Valley Authority. That meeting will be held in the Sponsorship Suite in the Davis Event Center.
WHEN/WHERE:	Thursday, Sept. 6 10 a.m. Upper chairlift landing pad, WNC Ag Center 1301 Fanning Bridge Road, Fletcher (Enter through Fanning Bridge Road gate, park near Entrance E and walk between barns to conference site at top of the hill).
