Farmland preservation advisory committee to meet Wednesday

WHO/WHAT:	The Agricultural Development and Farmland Preservation Trust Fund Advisory Committee will meet Wednesday for an update on the Cycle V application and selection process. The committee will meet by conference call, but members of the public can sit in on the meeting at the Agriculture Building. Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler will preside. The committee advises the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services on the prioritization and allocation of trust funds, the development of criteria for awarding funds, program planning, and other areas for the growth and development of family farms in North Carolina.
