Sustainable Local Food Advisory Council will meet July 26 in Raleigh
|| The N.C. Sustainable Local Food Advisory Council will hold its quarterly meeting, which is open to the public.

|| The agenda will include a presentation about marketing North Carolina agricultural products and how restaurants and grocery chains are using and promoting these products.
|| The Sustainable Local Food Advisory Council was created by the General Assembly in 2009. Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler serves as chairman of the 27-member group, which includes farmers, educators, food industry executives, state agency heads, community activists and local-food advocates.
