Members will be updated on the work of several committees and on a series of listening sessions the council has been conducting. Following these updates, the council will take part in a facilitated strategic planning discussion. |

The Sustainable Local Food Advisory Council was created by the General Assembly in 2009. Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler serves as chairman of the 27-member group, which includes farmers, educators, food industry executives, state agency heads, community activists and local-food advocates.
