Got to Be NC Festival

Commissioner Troxler to lead tractor parade Friday
as official kickoff of Got to Be NC Festival

WHAT: Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler will lead a parade of more than 100 antique tractors to officially open the 2014 Got to Be NC Festival.

Friday, May 16
1 p.m. (Gates open at noon.)


State Fairgrounds, Raleigh

Tractors will line up in front of the Martin Building inside Gate 9. The parade will move around the fairgrounds in a counter-clockwise direction.


The Got to Be NC Festival runs May 16-18 at the State Fairgrounds. The family-friendly event highlights the best of North Carolina agriculture. Tractor parades will take place daily at 1 p.m.

Visitors also can roam through the antique farm equipment, sample and purchase locally made products at the Got to Be NC Food, Wine & Beer Expo, enjoy the thrills of the carnival and relax to live music on an outdoor stage.
