Advance tickets now available for 2015 N.C. Mountain State Fair

Fair runs Sept. 11-20 at WNC Ag Center

Mountain State FairFLETCHER – Folks longing for cool nights filled with giant-pumpkin displays, racing pigs, thrilling rides and deep-fried delicacies won’t have to wait much longer, as the N.C. Mountain State Fair is just over a month away. Advance tickets are now available at area Ingles locations, the WNC Agricultural Center and WNC Farmers Market.

“Buying tickets in advance is a great way for fairgoers to save money, especially for large families,” said fair manager Matt Buchanan. “And, our partnership with Ingles makes it convenient for individuals to purchase their tickets in advance while they do their weekly shopping.”

Fairgoers can save $2 on admission by purchasing tickets early. Advance admission tickets are $7 for adults, $3 for children ages 6-12, and $3 for seniors ages 65 and older. Groups of 30 or more adults can receive tickets for $6 each. Children ages 5 years and under receive free admission.

Visitors also can save 50 percent on ride tickets by purchasing them in advance. Advance ride sheets are $7.50 and include 12 ride tickets. In addition, the fair will offer a Family Fun Pack for $40, which includes five adult gate admission tickets, four individual ride tickets plus vendor coupons.
The 2015 N.C. Mountain State Fair runs Sept. 11-20 at the WNC Agricultural Center in Fletcher. This year’s fair will feature an array of livestock exhibitions and agricultural exhibits, family entertainment, live music, a full carnival and more.
