WARNING: Propane is not a compatible refrigerant. The US Environmental Protection Agency provides has a warning against using propane containing products as a refrigerant. Frost 22A is being marketed as a replacement for refrigerant in your home or business air conditioning unit. The warning is that any refrigerant containing propane or butane, including Frost 22A, may work well in your system, but presents a distinct safety risk to you, your family, or anyone who services the system if used in your home or business, especially if the system has a leak.
