Standards: LP-Gas Code Interpretations

Some sections of the LP-Gas Code may be written to allow the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) some room to interpret the requirements. In North Carolina, the Standards Division has statutory authority to adopt the LP-Gas Code into the North Carolina Administrative Code. As the AHJ, we want to be consistent with the locations we inspect, with clear intentions and expectations. Official interpretations are published on our website, to be available to all that may need them.
