Structural Pest and Insect - General Information
NCDA&CS Structural Pest Control & Pesticides Division protects the consumer by minimizing and managing risks associated with the legal use of pesticides, including, but not limited to, insecticides and herbicides used in and around structures. As well as protecting the consumer through the regulation of the structural pest control industry to improve the quality of structural pest control services and reduce fraudulent, unscrupulous activities. This page contains general information about some of the structural pests that may be encountered in North Carolina. This is not an all-inclusive listing of North Carolina structural pests and insects. If you have an insect or plant disease you would like identified, the NCSU Plant Disease and Insect Clinic is a wonderful resource.
