The Charlotte Regional Farmers Market is proud to partner with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Food Policy Council and the Mecklenburg County Health Department's Food Security Program to offer SNAP/EBT benefits at the market. Volunteers will be at the market Saturday, November 2nd from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Got to Be NC building space 33. Stop by and scan your card to receive tokens for the market. When you do visit with them you will also get double the amount up to $50.00 because we are also able to participate in the Double Bucks program.
This is an amazing opportunity for those in our county struggling with food insecurity to have access to freshly picked from the farm produce, freshly made baked goods, locally produced beverages, local meats, and more. This program supports the people who need the food as well as those who make it. We are proud to be a part of this program.
