Research Stations - NC Specialty Crop Block Program - Projects - Marketing Christmas Trees

In 2019 the NC Christmas Tree Association received a two-year grant to enhance the visibility of NC Christmas Trees among millennial consumers in key market areas. Funds were used to improve the website and develop targeted social media and print ads. In addition professional videos were utilized in social media to drive home the messaging that choosing NC Christmas Trees is a family event and that our growers produce top quality trees for homes. The end result was a huge boost in social media views and increased sales and trees sold for producers!
