Robert G. Shaw Piedmont Triad Farmers Market - Vendor Information
How to Sell at the Market
The Piedmont Triad Farmers Market provides a comfortable location for consumers and farmers to buy and sell fresh from the farm fruits, vegetables, plants and other agricultural products. This is not a flea market and we take great pride in limiting items for sale to those that help support and sustain the farm community. All vendors, new and returning, will be required to apply to Piedmont Triad Farmers Market each year.
Information for Vendors
- This year the Market will be adopting a new software program called MarketSpread. Every prospective vendor is required to sign up for this program and apply for the 2025 season through this portal. Follow this LINK to build a profile and apply to the Market for the 2025 Season.
- Please find attached a step-by-step tutorial that will assist with signing up. You are more than welcome to schedule a time for you to come to the office, and we can walk you through it.
- Once your application has been received, Market Management will review and contact you to update you on the status of your application, and if approved, arrange a meeting to discuss your plans for 2025. Each vendor is required to meet with Market Management prior to approval to rent space on the market. We will schedule vendor meetings for Monday through Friday between the hours 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
- Please take the time to review the attached market guidelines and rules prior to submitting your application to market management. The market rules and guidelines address the parameters you will need to consider when selling at the Piedmont Triad Farmers Market in 2025. The Market Guidelines and Rules will also be reviewed with the Vendor during the scheduled meeting with Market Management.
- Grower’s Certifications along with Kitchen Inspections and Meat Handlers Licenses, etc. will also need to be uploaded to the Market Spread platform as they apply to the products you intend to sell. This year’s Grower’s Certifications can be conducted by Market Management upon request or your county’s Agricultural Extension Agent.
