Plant Industry - Laws and Regulations
The Plant Industry Division examines seed and fertilizer for accurate labeling and product quality. The division administers laws protecting plants and plant products from pests, conserving endangered plant species and enhancing honey bees and other beneficial organisms. The objective of the Plant Industry Division is to strengthen and promote the state's agricultural and plant related industries thus enhancing the quality of urban, suburban, and rural life of North Carolina's residents.
