At the 2024 N.C. State Fair, we honored Century Farm families, as well as Bicentennial Farm Families, at the Century Farm Reunion. We enjoyed music, a program, fellowship and much more. "Our Century and Bicentennial farms that have been the foundation that our state’s agriculture industry has been built on," said N.C. Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler. "I could not be more proud of the contributions your families and your farms make to our state!" The next reunion will be held at the 2028 N.C. State Fair!
The North Carolina Department of Agriculture’s Century Farm Program honors farms that have been in continuous family ownership for 100 years. Currently about 2,000 farms are in the program. These farms are recognized for their longstanding contributions to North Carolina’s rich agricultural heritage. Use the map below to view Century Farms by county.
