We CAN Fight Hunger Day is presented by Ingles and the N.C. Mountain State Fair. Prior to the pandemic, MANNA FoodBank served an average of 65,000 people across 16 counties of western North Carolina every month. Now, they are serving over 150,000 people a month. In July, they hit a devastating new high: 163,000 people served in one month across the region. But with your help, a little can go a long way. For every $1 donated to MANNA, the foodbank can provide enough food for four meals.
