WILMINGTON – The 20th Annual North American Raspberry & Blackberry Association (NARBA) Conference will be held in Wilmington Feb. 26-28 at the Wilmington Convention Center. It is being held in partnership with the N.C. Caneberry Association.

The sold-out conference is presented by NARBA, a membership association made up of growers, researchers, extension workers, nurseries, suppliers, marketers and others associated with the raspberry and blackberry industry in North America.

The two-day conference will feature 45 sessions devoted to the newest developments in growing, harvesting, food safety, climate change, soil health, virus and pest management strategies along with information on the N.C. berry industry. N.C. Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler presents keynote remarks Feb. 27 at 11:30 a.m.

A showcase of agricultural products and services for the berry industry will be part of the conference. A tour of several N.C. berry farms will cap off the conference, giving attendees a chance to experience N.C. agriculture up close and personal.

The annual NARBA conference offers berry producers opportunities to network, learn about the latest advancements in research, and hear about emerging technologies in the caneberry industry across North America.

A detailed schedule with speakers and their talk titles is available on the NARBA website. For more information, please visit www.raspberryblackberry.com/conference/2024-wilmington/.
