WHO/WHAT: The N.C. State Fair will pay tribute to members of the U.S. military for their service to the country on Wednesday. The day will include a military parade, a morning program and military concerts throughout the day. The program will include comments from Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler and Major Gen. Todd Hunt, adjutant general of the N.C. National Guard.
WHEN/WHERE: Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024; N.C. State Fairgrounds, Raleigh
The military parade at 10 a.m. on Wednesday will include several military vehicles, military representatives and other entertainers. The parade will start in the carnival midway. It will make its way through Kiddieland, past the Kerr Scott Building and back through the carnival midway.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: In addition to the military presence in the parade, special guests will include the Athens Drive High School marching band and Cold Steel, the drumline from N.C. A&T State University’s band. The marching performances of these groups will add to the sights and sounds of the day.
