Oftentimes, landowners have a host of objectives in mind that include managing their property for wildlife, which can be as important to them, if not more so, than for timber-related income. Responsibly managing your woodland habitat is one of the best ways to encourage diverse and healthy wildlife populations. In recognition of this, The Wildlife Society maintains a list of certified wildlife biologists available to assist landowners in the stewardship of their land.
