N.C. Forest Service - Ralph Winkworth Forestry Center
Located at the Kinston Global Transpark, the Ralph Winkworth Training Facility features classroom accommodations.
There is a main classroom with integrated audiovisual equipment including computer-controlled overhead LCD projector, document camera and DVD/VCR. The classroom can seat up to 60 students comfortably. Three additional classrooms can seat between 25 and 40 students with available portable audiovisual equipment. All classrooms have wireless internet access.
Recreation equipment includes table tennis, a pool table and horseshoe pit. The facility is within 3 miles of a par-3 golf course and a walking trail. Nearby entertainment opportunities in the city of Kinston include local movie theaters, a bowling alley and skating rink.
