Description: Remove sediment from existing agricultural ponds to increase water storage capacity. Benefits may include water supply, erosion control, flood control, and sediment and nutrient reductions from farm fields.
Agricultural Pond Sediment Removal Policy
Maintenance Period: 1 year - Cooperators are ineligible to reapply for assistance for this practice for this pond for a period of 10 years; unless the sedimentation is occuring due to no fault of the cooperator.

Cost Information: Actual cost - paid based on receipts. Maximum cost share amount $7,000 (75%) OR $8,400 (90%). Refer to AgWRAP Average Cost List for details.
