N.C. Pesticide Board Adopts New Pesticide Regulations
In an effort to comply with the recommendations of the 2008 Governor’s Task Force on Preventing Agricultural Pesticide Exposure and to implement the requirements of Senate Bill 847: “Prevent Agricultural Pesticide Exposure” The North Carolina Pesticide Board has adopted changes to the application information that is required under the Federal Worker Protection Standard, as well as requirements for Commercial Applicators & Public Operators.

- Record Keeping Form for the USDA Restricted-Use Pesticides Regulation and the Worker Protection Standard
- New Record Keeping Requirements for Aerial Applicators
- New Record Keeping Requirements for Commercial Applicators and Public Operators Applying Restricted Use Pesticides
On January 13, 2009, the North Carolina Pesticide Board adopted, by reference the containment portion of the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s new Pesticide Container and Containment Rule, thereby making it also a state regulation.
