Steve Dillon
Steve grew up on a small family farm raising tobacco, cattle, hay and vegetables. As his grandparent’s aged, tobacco production ceased on the family farm. Raising and showing sheep are what Steve and his family are currently in to.
He has a B.S. in Ag System Technology, a B.S. in Agricultural Business Management and a M.S. in Soil Science all from NCSU. 1998 marked the beginning of Steve's journey with the Agronomic Division, starting as the PWS Agronomist, then becoming a Regional Agronomist in May of 1999.
The diversity of crops and growers in Region 11 are what Steve enjoys. He really appreciates working with small fruits, vegetable and livestock producers.
