Brad grew up on a family farm working with tobacco, vegetable crops and peach production. His father also worked at the Sandhills Research Station where Brad was able to experience and learn from the research being done on multiple crops. Brad has a B.S. in Meteorology with a minor in Horticulture Science. He also received his M.S. Degree in Horticulture science, all from NC State University.

Brad has been with the Agronomic Division since 2019. He says "I specialize in fruit and vegetable production with an emphasis on sweet potato, cucurbits, and peaches. I enjoy working with all crops because they all present certain challenges.  The challenges are what drives me to be a better regional agronomist. The best part of being a regional agronomist is knowing you’re constantly learning on a daily basis and using that knowledge to help the growers not only in your own region, but potentially across the whole state."
